Beartooth Back Country Horsemen is based in Fishtail, Montana, at the foot of the beautiful Beartooth Range in the Custer National Forest.
We are avid outdoorsmen and have a love for the trails. Our goal is to educate the public to have a fun and safe experience in the back country. We also clear trails and help the National Forest Service with cleaning our beautiful trails.
Beartooth Back Country Horsemen meets on the third Monday of each month at the Fishtail Community Center at 7:00 p.m. A program of interest to backcountry horsemen and the general public is presented at each meeting. The public is cordially invited to attend.
Members are drawn from points of the compass from Red Lodge to Columbus, Livingston to Billings. A number of out-of-state horsemen are also on the rolls.
