Proceeds Support Trail Work<\/h3>\n

The proceeds from the event help the Gallatin Valley Back Country Horsemen to maintain regional trails. Gallatin Valley Back Country Horsemen have maintained the Spanish Creek trails since 1985.<\/p>\n

Back Country Horsemen Mission<\/h3>\n

GVBCH is an affiliate chapter of both the\u00a0Back Country Horsemen of Montana<\/a>\u00a0and the\u00a0Back Country Horsemen of America<\/a>. This is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to:
\nPerpetuate enjoyable, common-sense use of horses in the backcountry.
\nAssist government agencies in their maintenance and management of resources, ensure\u00a0that the Public Land Resource remains open to recreational stock use.
\nEducate, encourage, and solicit active public participation in the wise and sustaining use of horses in accordance with our heritage and the backcountry resources.<\/p>\n

Important Ride Restrictions<\/h3>\n

Everyone and their horse are welcome when they check in and sign a release. Sorry we cannot permit\u00a0DOGS or STALLIONS<\/strong>\u00a0to participate.\u00a0 All minor children must have a signed parental release to participate. All participants are subject to Montana\u2019s Equine Liability law. If you have adult beverages, we ask that you drink responsibly.<\/p>\n
