DESCRIPTION:The JBBCH will have a Bright County Nights display at the Central Montana Fairgrounds! Friday 6-9 Pm; Saturday 5-9 pm and Sunday 5-8 pm! This is a wonderful light exhibition which celebrates different local organizations and promotes a celebration of winter and activities to come! If you want to come and help set up we are meeting at 1:00 pm December 1 at the Fairgrounds and then we will go and have lunch together afterwards.

DESCRIPTION:Some people will be camping with horses and trailers on Friday October 4th. Be ready to ride on Saturday October 5th at 10:00 am. Drive Past Grass Range and turn left on Elk Creek Road\, which is gravel. Drive about 5 miles and make another left on 605 Yonder Trail just past Olsen ranch. Stay to the left at the “Y” and you may want to use 4 wheel drive up the hill. there is no water so you will need to bring your own water for yourself and your horses. There are trees for highlines or bring panels. The footing is good for horses so barefoot horses will do okay.

There is rough terrain with rocks and stream crossings so shoes on Horses is highly recommended.

DESCRIPTION:The Judith Basin Back Country Horsemen are having our annual summer picnic and ride. The long ride\, about 5 hours\, will be Saturday the 15th with ready to ride at 10:00 am. Some of us will come on Thursday\, Some on Friday and others on Saturday. Our picnic on Saturday July 15\, 2024 at 5:00 pm. The JBBCH will supply the meats and participants are welcome to bring a side. We will camp at the Middle Fork Trailhead campground. Many participants also camp with their horses and make this a fun and inviting time to spend with other horsemen. Everyone is welcome! For questions email jbbch@bch.org
