Blackfoot Clearwater Game Range – BCHMT Annual Rendezvous

Gather to Meet Up, to Reconnect with Old Friends and Meet Some New Ones. Bring your horse, mule, family and friends. Ride trails, share a meal, learn some new things, visit around the campfire and camp over the weekend.
This event is open to the public and hosted by the Missoula Backcountry Horsemen.
WHAT: An overnight camping experience for backcountry enthusiasts. Bring highlines/panels to secure your horses overnight. Toilets and hand-washing stations available. Saturday night dinner provided for a small fee (details to come).
WHERE: Blackfoot Clearwater Game Management Area – located in Missoula and Powell counties, take MT Highway 200 east approximately 6 miles from its junction with MT Highway 83 to Woodworth county road. Follow Woodworth county road north approximately 2 miles to the main entrance.
ALSO: This area is known for a healthy grizzly population. Please be bear aware and take proper precautions in storing food and personal safety.
