Standard Grooming

Aside from brushing a horse, standard grooming procedures should include:

• Checking the eyes
  
  
• Checking the ears
  
  
• Checking the teeth
  
  
• Checking the feet and shoes for rocks that may have become lodged or any other abnormalities
  
  
• Checking for sores, bite marks, and ticks
