We Are The Back Country Horsemen of Montana.
Over 1000 members and 18 chapters of our organization work hard to assure our members have the education, training, and support they need to have safe and fun back country rides.
Members
BCHMT Members receive members-only invitations to backcountry events, including poker rides, trail working, and training. Members also receive current information that affects back country accessibility- news, political updates, and opportunities for speaking out to assure our pastime.
BCHMT address is Back Country Horsemen of Montana, 2130 9th St. W. #109, Columbia Falls, MT 59912
Volunteerism is one of the most important activities Back Country Horsemen can use in our effort to perpetuate enjoyable common sense use of horses in the backcountry.
- Volunteerism earns horsemen a seat at the table where decisions concerning access to public lands by pack and saddle stock users are made.
- Individual volunteer efforts support the Back Country Horsemen of America mission statement.
- Volunteer service by BCHA is consistently underreported.
